Founded in 1981
Thank you for your interest in our company. Concur Electric Co. is a family operated electrical contractor with the goal of providing high quality electrical construction services and building lasting personal relationships with our customers. We have achieved that goal by maintaining a core group of electricians, most of which have been with Concur Electric since its inception. John J. Curtin founded Concur Electric Co. in 1981 and has been a registered electrical contractor with the City of Chicago as well as the licensed supervising electrician. Concur Electric Co. is a signatory member of the principal agreement by and between the Electrical Contractors Association of the City of Chicago and IBEW, Local Union #134. After working for many large electrical contractors, John recognized the need for better service and quality, and set out to provide this service. The early years were devoted to tenant build-outs of high-rise office buildings. Although this is still our focus, we are not limited in our ability to complete a wide range of electrical projects.
